Go Happy Cup -- Playing Go Is So Fun!

2010 MorningStar Happy Cup Youth Go Tournament

Entry Requirement

All youth players 18 years of age or younger are eligible.

Rules

19x19 board, 20 minutes absolute timing for each player (offical tournament clocks will be used; each game will finish within 40 minutes sharp). AGA rule, 7.5 komi, no handicaps.

Prizes and Trophies

Prizes are awarded for playing games. Every player gets a trophy after playing all 5 games, regardless of their rankings.

How to Register

Please fill the registration form to register online, and pay the registration fee either by check or PayPal. We have limited capacity for the tournament and will close registration once we reach our maximum capacity. We also need enough time to order the right numer of trophies for every child attending. So registration will be closed on April 24, 2010. Register early before spaces ran out!

Registration Fee

Registration fee is $15/player, and $13.50 per extra child in a family. Regular players of the Cupertino Youth Go Club or Sedgwick School Go Club can also register at the discounted price of $13.50.

Date and Time

May 8, 2010, 1:30PM -- 5:30PM. There is an ice cream party at the end for all children and their parents.

This event will be held in the MorningStar Chinese School (Building D, 890 Pomeroy Ave., Santa Clara, CA 95051) on May 8, 2010 (Saturday).
