The Sixth Sunflower Happy Cup Youth Go Tournament (2013)

Entry Requirement

All youth players 18 years of age or younger are eligible.

Tournament Organization

Players will be separated into several divisions based on their strength. Each player only plays with players in the same division. Division A will play 4 games. Other divisions will play 5 games.

Rules

19x19 board, AGA rule, 7.5 komi. No handicaps.

Time Limit

20 minutes main time and 10 seconds Byo-yomi.

We may slightly change the time limit during the tournament to fit the schedule.

Prizes and Trophies

Prizes are awarded for playing games. Every player gets a trophy after playing all games, win or lose.

How to Register

Please fill the registration form to register online, and pay the registration fee by check. We have limited capacity for the tournament and will close registration once we reach our maximum capacity. We also need enough time to order the right numer of trophies for every child attending. So registration will be closed on May 18, 2013. Register early before spaces ran out!

Registration Fee

Registration fee is $16/player.

Date and Time

June 1, 2013 (Saturday), 1:30PM -- 5:30PM. There is an ice cream party at the end for all children and their parents.

Location

This event will be held in the Sunflower Chinese School (19220 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014 ).
